ABOUT JEEVAN JYOT CHARITABLE TRUST
"Jeevan Jyot Charitable Trust”, Parbhani was established in 1991 under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 Reg. No is E-65. The trust is dedicated to educational, social and economical development of farming community and rural people particularly unemployed youths. The organization was identified the correct need in development of agriculture, as most of the Indian population is based on it. The JJCT has started the agricultural development activities by education, training and demonstration with the help of expert staff and agriculture scientists available with the institute.
Hon. Prof. Ashokraoji Deshmukh (Ex. M. P. Parbhani) and Founder of Jeevan Jyot Charitable Trust, Parbhani is a post graduate in agriculture and Ex University Professor has established Krishi Vigyan Kendra in 1995 with mission “To bridge the gap between agriculture scientist, latest technology and farmers”.
Some of the activities of the JJCT has successfully implemented are viz., Bio-Pesticide production, Bio- Fertilizer production, Mushroom production, sericulture production, Goat unit, Diary unit, Poultry unit, Tie and Dye, Nursery Unit, ANGANWADI Workers Training Center, B.Sc. (Horticulture) degree course of Y. C. M. O. U., Nashik, Maharashtra and D. F. I. D. – Indo- British collaboration project on Rabbi Sorghum etc.
To get education to the candidates after their H. S. C. Jeevan Jyot Charitable Trust, had launched two colleges, one Rajiv Gandhi Agriculture College in the year 2002 and another college, Rajiv Gandhi Agriculture Technology (Food Science) , affiliated to Marathwada Agriculture University, Parbhani in the year 2004.
Along with all these activities, Jeevan Jyot Charitable Trust wants to improve the knowledge of Youth in Information Technology. So to get education to all young generation, J. J. C. T. established A. I. I. T. B. Cs. College affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth University, Nanded in 2002.
In the year 2002, simultaneously with agriculture and social work, the founder thought regarding the information Technology. But he realized that the education in the I. T. will be get only those candidates those who has having a well financial facility. So to get training in I. T. to women and they get self employed by this training, he launched a program of NORAD in the collaboration with W. F. D. C. a unit of Government of India.
In the year 2003, Jeevan Jyot Charitable Trust tied up with Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL) , a Public Limited Company. In collaboration with MKCL J. J. C. T. had launched Authorized Training Center to provide MS CIT course. The course is approved by Government of Maharashtra.
